For legal firms

The client portal for law firms that runs every matter end to end.

One portal per matter. Audit log on every action. No more sending the signed PDF to your associate and never finding it again.

The way you work now.

  • A client signs the engagement letter, emails it to your associate. Your associate forwards it to you. You can't find it three months later when the audit asks.

  • Document collection is a slow back-and-forth in email. Three weeks to get five PDFs.

  • Each matter has its own folder structure, on three different drives, in three different ways. None of them match.

What changes with ClientNest365.

A real law firms flow, from invite to invoice.

Engagement letter, sent and stored.

Upload the letter, request approval, get a signed-and-timestamped record in the portal. The matter file starts on day zero.

Document collection, structured.

Send a file request with a specific list: 'Q3 bank statements, last year's tax return, ID verification.' The client uploads each one against the list.

Privileged communication.

Messages and files stay scoped to the matter. Your client doesn't see other matters, and access can be limited to specific case associates.

Invoice and time entry.

Bill against the matter. The client pays via the portal. Every line item is exportable to your accounting tool.

What do law firms ask before they switch?

Is it compliant for legal practice?

Files are stored privately behind signed download URLs that expire. Database access is row-level locked per matter. We don't claim formal SOC 2 or HIPAA certification; see our security page for the precise practices.

Can I limit who on my team sees a matter?

Yes. Team-member access is per-matter for sensitive engagements.

Does it support engagement-letter e-signatures?

Internal approval workflows: yes, a structured 'approve' action with a timestamped audit log. For formal qualified-eIDAS e-signature, we don't replace a dedicated provider like DocuSign; we let you upload the signed PDF.

What about retention and deletion?

You control retention. We don't auto-delete matter files. Workspace-level GDPR erasure is available if you need it.
