For accounting firms
The client portal for accountants that ends tax-season chasing.
Recurring monthly checklists. Deadline tracker per jurisdiction. Auto-classified uploads. An AI concierge that answers your clients so you don't have to. Tax season stops being six weeks of email chasing.
The way you work now.
Tax season is six weeks of chasing bank statements, receipts, and signatures from clients who don't read email.
Clients send a PDF, then a scan of a PDF, then a phone photo of a receipt. Half of it isn't legible, and nothing is sorted.
Filing deadlines live in your head, a spreadsheet, and Outlook reminders. One slip and the late penalty letter arrives.
Every recurring bookkeeping client wants their own folder structure on their own Drive.
What changes with ClientNest365.
A real accounting firms flow, from invite to invoice.
Monthly checklist, automated.
Built-in templates for monthly bookkeeping, quarterly VAT, annual self-assessment, and year-end corporation tax. Attach to a client on a schedule. Each period the file requests go out by themselves.
Auto-classified uploads.
When the client drops a file, the system tags it (bank statement, receipt, invoice, return, ID). Quiet behind the scenes. You see a sorted folder; they see a tick.
Jurisdiction-aware deadlines.
VAT, payroll, self-assessment, and corporation-tax dates for GB, IE, DE, FR, NL. Add a client, pick the country, the calendar fills itself. Reminders fire at 14, 7, and 1 day out.
Approval-ready returns.

AI concierge in every portal.
Your clients ask 'what's pending from me?' or 'when's my VAT due?' inside their portal. The concierge answers from their actual files and deadlines. Cited every time. Your inbox stays quiet.
Webhooks for Zapier, Make, and your stack.
invoice.paid fires when a client pays. file.classified fires when uploads are sorted. deadline.due_soon fires before a return is late. Wire them to Slack, your CRM, or anything that speaks HTTPS.

What do accounting firms ask before they switch?
Which jurisdictions are on the deadline tracker?
GB, IE, DE, FR, and NL ship with the built-in pack: VAT (monthly / quarterly / bi-monthly per country rules), payroll, self-assessment, and corporation-tax. Add jurisdictions as the user base grows. You can also add custom deadlines per client.
How does the auto-classifier work?
Filename heuristics handle the obvious cases instantly. Anything ambiguous goes to a low-cost AI pass that returns a category plus confidence. You can override the classification with one click. Misclassified files are rare and cheap to fix.
What's the AI concierge actually costing me?
Every workspace has a monthly concierge cap. Default is generous for v1; you can raise it from settings when your client portfolio grows. Clients see how many questions are left for the month. Past the cap, the chat is paused until the next month resets.
How does it handle the start-of-year file scramble?
The annual self-assessment template attaches to every relevant client in one click. Each portal scaffolds its checklist for the year, and the cron loop creates the first file request immediately.
Can I export everything to my accounting software?
Files download in their original format. Bookkeeping-tool integration runs through the webhook layer. Wire file.classified to your favorite Zap or Make scenario and the file lands where your software expects it. Direct API pushes to specific bookkeeping tools land on the roadmap as the user base requests them.
What if a client doesn't use the portal?
Send them a magic-link upload request by email. They click, drop the file, the system classifies it, and it lands in the right folder. No login.
Do you handle e-invoicing for HMRC / EU mandates?
We generate PDF invoices. For jurisdiction-mandated e-invoicing formats (Italy SDI, France Chorus Pro, etc.) use your dedicated submission portal. We don't pretend to replace those.
